Warranty and return – Store policies

At Wristmodding.com, we prioritize transparency and customer satisfaction with every purchase. Our return policy is designed to provide you with a straightforward and fair process should you wish to return your product.

Return Eligibility, Process, and Warranty

We proudly offer one of the longest warranties among MOD shops, as we stand behind the craftsmanship of our skilled watchmakers who create each timepiece with mastery and passion. We currently deliver over 500 watches monthly, a testament to our commitment to quality.

Warranty Coverage: We offer a 2-year warranty, covering any defects or issues related to faulty components, assembly, or the watch’s movement at no additional cost to you. In cases where components such as the crystal or bezel break, we will provide the necessary replacement parts at no charge, although a shipping fee may apply.

Shipping Costs: While we strive to ensure every purchase is ideal, we understand that returns may occasionally be necessary. Please note that shipping costs for express shipments are non-refundable. Currently, customers contribute approximately 30 Euros toward the total 60 Euros we pay to FedEx, UPS, or another carrier. This charge covers the initial transit of your order and is non-refundable.

How to Initiate a Return: To begin the return process, please contact our support team for authorization and detailed instructions through our website’s live chat or by replying to your order confirmation email. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, and we recommend using a trackable shipping service to ensure safe delivery.

In all instances, the customer will pay for shipping the watch back. In the case of a replacement, the shipping costs will obviously be refunded after the watch is received. However, in the case of an order cancellation, the costs will be fully covered by the customer and will not be reimbursed.

Product Condition: To be eligible for a return, the item must be in its original, unused condition with all protective plastic coverings intact. Items showing signs of use or with removed protective coverings may not qualify for a return.

Return Reasons:

  • If the watch is as described and free from defects, returns will incur a 20% assembly fee as partial compensation for our labor.
  • If the watch is defective, you are eligible for a replacement without additional charges for delivery or return of the defective item. If you choose to decline the replacement, a 20% assembly fee will apply, and you must return the watch and cover the shipping costs, to qualify for a refund.
  • If the order is lost or damaged on its way to the customer you are also entitled to a replacement that will be shipped with express delivery, as in the point prior to this, if a replacement is refused, it will be an order cancellation and the 20% assembly fee will apply.
  • For issues resolvable by component replacement, we will send the necessary part to you without requiring the entire watch to be returned.
  • Order size and fit will not qualify as a reason for return

Order Cancellations: Cancellations are accepted on the same calendar day the order is placed. For example, an order placed on 16/08/2022 can be canceled by 16/08/2022 without additional fees. However, for cancellations requested after this timeframe, say the 17/08/2022 or after, a 20% assembly fee will apply to cover the work already completed. We are a team of dedicated watchmakers, hand-mading everything on our catalogue, and we kindly ask our customers to honor the effort that goes into the creationg of our watches.

If the customers fails to, or refuses to pick up a package from a pick up point, they will not be entitled to receive a refund, nor a replacement.

Delivery issues and concerns: Once the package is shipped and tracking provided the customer has full responsibility of the package and its delivery, any mis-delivery, not contacting the shipping provider, or not paying for import customs / reaching out to customs if anything is necessary, or rejecting a package will not grant a refund, nor an order cancellation. 

Delivery Policy

Delivery Tracking: It is the customer’s responsibility to track their package and liaise with the shipping provider if needed. Our support team is here to assist should you need further guidance.

We do not guarantee delivery dates. The available shipment options you see at checkout are estimates, a package arriving later than the estmated date will not qualify you for an order cancellation or refund, we do not guarantee delivery dates so a package not arriving for a birthday or for other occasions such as Christhmas do not qualify you for a cancellation or a return/refund.

Delivery Estimates: We provide estimated delivery times for you to select your preferred shipping option at checkout. Please note these are estimates, not guarantees, and delays beyond our control do not qualify for refunds or cancellations. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate requests for refunds related to delivery timing (such as packages delayed for Christmas or a birthday).

Decency Policy

We kindly ask all customers to maintain polite and respectful communication when contacting our support team. Abusive, inappropriate language or behavior, and threats of any sort will not be tolerated, and we reserve the right to cease assistance if such instances occur.

Special clause on racism: Any recist remarks or comments are not tolerated and will give us the right to interrupt our relationship with the customer and not fulfill any duty we might have in their regards.

Any customer who recurrs to public displays such as Trustpilot with the intent to hurt our shop and its reputation, will give us the right to void any further assistance and obligations in regards to their orders.

Only customers who respect our work and will patiently wait for us to fix all their issues, as we always do, will be granted our support.

A customer who has erroneusly proceed with a public defamatory display, when an issue would have been resolved by us, will be granted the opportunity for their ticket to be resolved only once the public display is removed.

Refund Process

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we aim to process your refund within 10-14 business days. Please note that additional time may be required by your bank to finalize the transaction.
